It’s been a little hectic in some ways, I’ve rebuilt part of my parcel, bringing back the extension on the meadow level, putting up a huge waterfall at the end and then putting down this wonderful (but slightly laggy) grass all over the meadow. I’ve also managed to put out two serious fixes for both Chat Enhancer and Ultimate Titler and the first had been sitting there not making any progress until my Miss told me: 1) you’ll spend the next evening doing it and 2) you’ll have fun. I did and it was.

Next major chance I get I’m going to put in some serious time getting in-place updates working and then start really buckling down and working on the coin-op system. After talking to a friend of ours, I’ve got a couple more ideas of things I can do with it, like sell it as a RolePlay reward system. The idea being that someone could buy a system which includes a script which will allow them to reward people with coins, and then a vendor system that is paid using coins rather than Linden dollars. It would essentially be a custom currency system, but where there’s no conversion between Linden dollars and the currency. It would be completely under the control of the person who bought the system. I’m also re-considering the idea of allowing coins to be cashed in for Lindens. The moment I do that, I’m at risk of running afoul of Linden Lab’s prohibition on in-world banks. Also, the accounting and auditing I’d need to set up would be unreasonable.

While I was in my horse avatar, Bez and I went to watch a jousting tournament. She rode me while there, and we attempted to tilt, but it really didn’t work. First, my gear isn’t compatible with the jousting system and second I really couldn’t see where I was going well enough to keep from running into the rail. When she took her turn she used her own horse, but after, she sat on me while the rest of the tournament went on. It was really cool to watch and I’m tempted to get the necessary gear. Suffice to say too that Bez was the only one there with a self-aware mount

Miss Tara has a date for her move now, and it’s fairly soon. She’s getting a little frantic, understandable, I think this will be the furthest she’s ever moved. The next few weeks will almost certainly impact the time we have in-world together, but you know, it’s really alright. She’s been super clear that keeping in regular contact with me is of critical importance to her, and I know in my bones who’s I am: Hers. One nice side-effect of her move is that she’s moving to a new time-zone so when she’s settled we’ll have another hour before her own curfew, which will be nice.

Oh! And Miss Tara and Re have reconciled! I don’t think I’ve blogged about what went on between them, and the details are really no one else’s business, but it was rough on everyone and yesterday Re and Miss Tara both sort of extended olive branches at the same time, ended up talking on voice privately for a long time, and have put the bad stuff behind them. This morning at the Forum it was like old times again and that was really nice to see, and I know it really helped boost Miss Tara’s spirits.

The first event was the agility course. I’d been practicing it over the previous week, and found a couple of strategies that seemed to work well. Going into the event though, I’d only posted the second best time. Mobi was well ahead of me. When it came time to run though, I had a nice run and unfortunately, Mobi ran into some trouble mid way through the course. The result was that I won the event!

Second, also on Saturday, was sheep herding. I went first and after several false starts because it turned out the walls were too low (sheep kept jumping out of the pen), I posted a very fast time which no one else was able to approach. We had about half a dozen puppies in attendance as well as a few kitties tried their paws at the events.

Sunday was the Puppy Parade. Unfortunately, there were only two of us competing. It was all good fun though, and very closely judged. The other puppy (who’s name escapes me unfortunately) edged me out for the gold. Still, two firsts and a second is none to shabby!

My Miss suggested building a trophy case to display my puppy and pony trophies, need to find a good texture to use, but definitely going to!

It was two weeks as a puppy and my Miss decided it was time for a couple of changes, a couple of days as a latex doll, and now I’m locked in a body cage and gagged solid in human form. Nice changes, and she’s determined to stretch my comfort level being in normal human form, and it’s working too. I’ve been focused on non-human forms so much that the regular “me” has been somewhat absent. I still like changing forms, but I’m definitely comfortable taking on which ever form my Miss decides on.

My Miss and I celebrated one month since she collared me on Monday. It’s been a wonderful month and we’re both really looking forward to what the future brings.

The lead up to the events were a talk yesterday on being a puppy, and tomorrow on owning a puppy. Sunday there’s a puppy dance (which should be interesting).

The talk yesterday was lead by Mobius and I (well, Mobi did most of the leading). I was nervous going into the talk not sure what I was going to say, but as the talk picked up, I found I had a fair bit to talk about, mostly about how my own mindset changes when I’m in puppy form. I’d noticed this before, but hadn’t really enquired into it, nor had I realised how dramatically it shows as others at the talk commented that they really see the change come over me when I’m in the different form.

I really enjoy opportunities to explore what’s happening in my head, I find it helps a lot in helping me accept what’s happening and to also explore ways to deepen the experience. It was also very gratifying to hear that others have similar experiences. Mobi and a few others echoed my sentiment that things become much simpler and there are fewer worries when being a puppy. All you’re concerned with is being happy, making your owner happy, and occasionally, chasing cats.

To say that the timing caught me by surprise would be an understatement. To say that this wasn’t the best Christmas Present I’ve ever received would be a lie. We’re both really happy with how this is working out, and seriously looking forward to what the future brings.

One thing I am slowly learning is where the line is between playful brat and going too far. Haven’t quite gone too far yet, or if I have she hasn’t said anything. I’m assuming I haven’t crossed the line there yet. I did manage to disobey her the next day though. She instructed me to go for a walk during the day and after running around I was so sleepy I grabbed a nap instead. For the record, it was not my intention to deliberately disobey her. Also for the record I took complete responsibility, and she punished me by banishing me from SL for an hour. Punishment served, apology given, forgiveness received, all is well.

And so the adventure begins! She’s laid down some basic rules, nothing all that different from how we were before she claimed me, and we’re slowly but surely getting everything switched over to her ownership as we go. There’s no great rush, and she’s having fun with her dress-up doll

When she collared me, she insisted that I be in human form, to denote that she is taking ownership of the person beneath the pony/doll/tiger/puppy/etc. I really like that symbolism, it solidifies our relationship; who we are to each other. We’re both fiercely protective of our friendship and not willing to let anything compromise it. So far, except for a short period where we suddenly felt a bit of distance, we’re doing fantastic. That short period was really due to me dropping automatically into total “Yes, Miss” mode. Not being a doormat, but rather being thoroughly formal at all times. We talked about it a bit, and relaxed a bit, and it’s all good. There are specific occasions she requires me to address her as “Miss”, anything beyond that is what feels natural, and it’s working wonderfully.

We’re working our way through my various forms too, she had me as her latex doll for a couple of days, tiger a couple more, today she’s got a hyperactive squirrel to deal with and the rest of the week she wants me in puppy form. Not sure which one though

She’s also keeping very close watch over me and my commitments in RL. In a lot of ways, this is the thing I value most about her friendship and her ownership. She takes coaching me and helping me with keeping on top of things very seriously and it’s coaching and help I really need.

I feel like the stresses and burdens of life are just a little easier when I’m with Miss deka. She is such a comfort for me. Just being with her, not needing to say a word, just that closeness puts me at ease.

We’re both going to be away for the weekend, but come next week Miss deka is probably going to be online more which I’m really looking forward to.

Before I went to bed, Miss had me change into puppy gear, still purple I’m drifting off to sleep now, curled up in my kennel, warm in the knowledge that I am and remain Miss deka’s. It still blows me away that I’m so lucky to be Her’s.

Miss deka has decided that it is time to up the ante a bit, more bondage, more extremes in what I’m wearing, more on many levels. I’m loving every moment of it. It coincides with her Master doing the same, so to some extent she’s been keeping us in sync.

It all started late last week when she started working on my Latex doll look. First, she put me in my Restrained Freedom discipline suit for a day or so

Then she added a gas-mask, some new latex and a stand that had her riding me

She locked me in place, and then was herself locked in place and there we sat, on display for the Forum, for nearly 24 hours. Looking out through that gas mask was interesting, the lenses fog up as you breathe and you can only see through the holes. You can’t touch anything either.

The last time she had me as a statue, was the time she made me into a table as punishment. This time, she was with me the whole time, and it wasn’t for punishment it was for fun. Fun it definitely was. I begin to see what the statues who used to grace the Forum got out of it. What you can’t see in this picture was the tails that everyone was pinning on me thanks to Miss deka’s Master. He left a pin-the-tail-on-the-dollie sign up…

Next, we were ponies together again. Training up our pony boots (I started over again from the beginning in exchange for being allowed to join Miss) and wearing our new pony hoods. These hoods are fully encasing and shaped like a horse’s head. I really, really like the way it looks and will probably ask Miss to allow me to wear that hood any time I’m in pony tack with much latex.

That night, after I put myself to bed in my stall on our meadow, Miss deka was put to bed in the stall next to mine. In the morning, I set out and picked up a few things to decorate her stall with. A pony bed like mine, a hay bail and an apple. When she came online later, Miss was pleased which sent nice ripples through me.

The next day (Saturday now), was both a very fun, but also a very scary day. It all started nicely enough, in the morning I was over at the Forum, chatting with folks while the last touches for the auction later that day were put up. In the midst of all that, my wife suffered a seizure. Since her stroke, she’s had three seizures that we know of. They are to be expected following a stroke, and she doesn’t seem to suffer any major ill effects, but they can be quite scary. I was on voice at the time and didn’t realise that I was broadcasting the crisis to the entire Forum. Jamie shut down voice fortunately so there was no major issue, just a bit of embarrassment. My wife is fine, and I returned to SL later on to be auctioned off (I put myself up for a two hour cart ride, location to be chosen by the winner). The same person bought Miss deka and I and I think she wants us to give her a shared ride. Should be fun. The auction was a great success and we raised over $500 for Breast Cancer Awareness. This translates to over L$150,000 in Linden Dollars which is an enormous amount of money to raise over a two hour period.

Finally, yesterday, Miss deka decided it was time to go a bit more extreme and we came up with a latex neko look that is just amazing. I’ve got this purple glowing hair with tail and ears to match, covered head to foot with latex. I love it. When I get a chance, I’ll pull some pictures down and post them. When she put me to bed last night, she commented that my hair made a nice night light. I was glowing on many levels as I went to bed.

Oh, a brief note about being put to bed. I’ve got different beds for each of my forms, and they all lock me in. A really nice puppy kennel I picked up last time I was a puppy. A kitty basket that is nearly identical to a real one we had for our cat when I was a kid (the cat’s didn’t have the steel mesh across the opening that mine does though (grin). My isolation pod for when I’m in dollie form, my stall on the meadow of course, a cage in the dungeon, and last but certainly not least my original cage that Wednesdai bought me. All of these lock and unless I am wearing my doll key, I am locked in and online through the night, sleeping in SL the same as I am sleeping in RL. When she can, Miss deka tucks me in and locks me down before I head off to bed. I am released shortly after I wake up in the morning and it never fails to send me to bed with a smile and just a little bit in subspace.

The care and attention Miss deka gives me is just overwhelming some times. It regularly leaves me breathless to reflect on the fact that I am Her’s. In ten days it will be exactly four months since she collared me. By far the longest I’ve been owned in SL and I’m at the point now where it’s becoming difficult to relate to the period before she claimed me. I still remember those times, and some of them I remember very fondly, but that was a different lifetime. I can’t imagine life without her. SL sparkles when she’s there, it’s a little dull when she isn’t. RL cares and worries (and I’ve got more than my fair share) are lessened just by the knowledge that I am Her’s. We don’t have to be doing anything, we can be just sitting at the Forum chatting, or sitting at home playing Greedy, or just sitting talking. Everything else is gravy and there’s no shortage of gravy. The core is there, solid, it sends thrills through me when I contemplate it.

It was nice. There wasn’t a huge crowd at the Forum, but that was fine too. I was in my favorite place in all of SL: At Miss deka’s side. It can be the most mundane or even boring stuff, but if I’m with her it’s all good.

Before we both logged to hit the hay, she changed me into my Dollie form and set me a challenge: To see how few punishments I can get from my bane hood. It can be mean so this is a real challenge. I earned one this morning, I’d forgotten that I’m not allowed to cam around (aka spy camming). Then when I was working on her other assignment (find purple latex), I crashed during a teleport. That one earned me four violations when I logged back in I think. We’ll see what the report says when I get a few more hours in. I get a report every four hours from the bane, but Miss deka gets a notified of every violation. She initially set my arm-binder to 12 hours and the hood to 10. I suspect that there’s going to be some consequence for any time my bane ends up locked beyond the time on the arm-binder… Not that I’m not loving every moment of it…

How’s that for a nice way to spend time in SL?

Yesterday I hadn’t seen Miss deka all day. That’s not unusual right now, and it’s not a problem either, we both have a lot going on in RL and it means that our time together is really impacted. She does manage to remind me in wonderful ways that I’m still hers though. Last night was an amazing case in point, and proof that she’s even more deeply in my head than ever. Miss deka has had me in my pony tack for the last week or so, and I’ve really enjoyed being a pony for an extended period. It’s been a while since I had the chance to do that. I’m the first to admit that I’m sufficiently ADHD that staying in the same form for much longer than a week starts to get a bit restless making. Yesterday I decided that I was going to ask Miss to let me change into another form for a while.

When I woke up this morning I discovered that I wouldn’t need to be making that request! Some time during the night she came in and checked on me in my stall on our meadow. While she was there she unlocked my pony tack and changed me into my puppy gear (and promptly locked that on). It made for one of the most wonderful wake-ups in a long time, a very clear reminder that: I am Her’s, that I am cared for, that she looks out for me no matter what. How can you not melt at that?

During the morning as I was having fun playing with a couple of other puppies at the Forum I got a lead on a new place for puppy equipment I’d not heard of before. A quick jump there and a bit of editting and I’ve got a couple of nice new additions.

First, I got a really nice kennel I saw there and put it up attached to the lawn outside the front door of our castle. Ponies and puppies don’t sleep in the house except by invitation is my thinking. Certainly when I’m in pony form I sleep all nice and snug in my stall down on the meadow, I figured as a puppy it makes sense for the same to apply. I’ve still got a nice bed in the castle, but something just feels right about curling up in the kennel unless Miss says otherwise. The fact that the kennel locks all nice and securely while still having a key handy for Miss to take when and as she decides to is a necessary feature. Miss deka was seriously displeased when she got back into SL after being away because she was moving and I was locked into Dollie form and she couldn’t unlock me. I’ve confirmed that she definitely can unlock the kennel when the key is in the lock (which it is), and that I can’t unlock the kennel even with the key in the lock.

I’m all curled up snug in my new kennel tonight, feeling mostly at peace with the world. RL still continues to kick my ass, my wife’s surgery was postponed because she seems to be getting a cold and the surgeon doesn’t want to risk possible pneumonia or another infection in her skull. We’re both really disappointed, but what choice do we have? The surgeon is right, this is not a risk worth taking, we can wait another few weeks. Meanwhile maybe I can get things at work into the state they need to be in by Monday with the two extra days at the office that I hadn’t planned on. We’ll have to see how that goes tomorrow, Friday and over the weekend.

It’s been a quiet few days, Miss deka is still on vacation so I haven’t seen her much. I do hope she’s having a good time. She needs a break after the last couple of weeks.

Meanwhile I’ve been puttering around, put up a greeter/visitor counter in my shop so i can see who’s coming by. I made my first ever sale from the Eclectic Randomness affiliate vendor in there the other day! So far I’ve actually sold 14 Chat Enhancers and my commission on the ER sale means I’ve earned about L$1500 from my little creation. Not too bad!

I’ve got some fun plans for a couple of new products, and I’m working on a new web backend that will give me much more capability both inworld and on the web. How about an evil titler where the title can be set from the web? It’s coming! I’m also starting serious design work on a project Miss deka wants me to build: the coin operated Dollie. In a nutshell, the Dollie will need to have coins placed in it’s coin slot in order to be able to move, talk, well do anything really. Each coin will give a fixed amount of time. There’s a lot more to it than that, and there will be a whole host of configuration options, but that’s enough of a teaser for now.

Samie’s rez day was yesterday! I got her a set of Z. Designs puppy gear for a rez day present. SL needs more puppies! She showed off her new gear, and I changed into puppy gear myself so we could cavort a bit. Interesting that she shares the feeling that puppies are inherently hyper. One of the first things she told me when she’d tried it on was how she felt like she was just bouncing around!

Not a whole lot else going on, the slow quiet end of summer I guess.

Still missing my Miss, but I know she’ll be back.

Had a nice quiet early evening at Regg and Tara’s place, in panther form with Re in her new Snow Leopard. I’m learning a lot from just watching how Tara, Re and others interact. I’m realising that I spend an awful lot of the time just sitting or laying down observing what’s going on, not necessarily initiating a lot. Sure, I participate in the banter and the general tom-foolery, but otherwise I’m pretty much laid back. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying its a bad thing, but I’m definitely pondering whether it’s effective for me or not…

Miss deka came on around 8:00 which certainly brightened up my day. We spent most of the rest of the evening at home, she curled up with Damon, me curled up at her feet, all of us playing Greedy. Once again, I was content just to be in the same room with Miss, curled up before the fire at her feet. A wonderful image for me.

Maybe it’s everything that’s going on in RL that has me second guessing myself a bit at every turn. I need to keep foremost in my head that if there’s an issue, big or little, Miss will let me know. If I’m not initiating enough, or if I seem wooden in my responses to her, I need to trust that she’ll help me become better. Meanwhile I’m just happy to spend time, any time, in her presence.

She definitely picked a form for me that helps push me a little in the direction of initiating stuff more today, when I went to bed last night she instructed me to change into puppy form this morning. The very first time I put on puppy gear I felt much more hyper than usual, there’s something about it that just makes you want to race around sniffing everything, searching out treats and pets from everyone nearby, before flopping down for a quick nap…

I couldn’t decide what if any clothing to wear with the puppy gear (I think I was mostly nude last time). When I went to put on a catsuit I discovered that some piece of it was preventing me from putting on clothing. I started to strip it off so I could put on the catsuit but then changed my mind. A naked puppy am I. Well, mostly naked…
