So I’m posting this morning. Not a lot to post about really except for a couple of things.
First, my Miss is in hospital with pneumonia. Were it not for the fact that I’m needed here so much, I’d be on a plane to be at her side right now. Best I can do is send her flowers, which I did, in spite of her direct command not to. I honestly think that’s the first time I’ve deliberately disobeyed her. I’ve been chatting with her on Yahoo and I did confess. She gave me a big hug and thanked me, and forgave me immediately. Her Master is on his way to help out, so there’s no question she’s going to be cared for.
Second, this blog is about to hit another milestone! In the next day or two it will hit 2,000 views! That number is only since I moved over to this new location too, it doesn’t count when the blog was hosted elsewhere. It’s gratifying and a little humbling to realise how many people are actually reading my meanderings here. I know my Miss does, as well as a handful of others, but reaching that milestone since August of last year tells me that more people are reading than I know about. I hope my ramblings are useful or at least entertaining
Finally, I found a fun new toy the other day. The OpenCollar folks have come up with a leash post called the “Grabby Post”. If you’re wearing an OpenCollar scripted item and bump into the post it grabs your leash immediately. My Miss wants me to be leashed to something at all times when I’m not otherwise wandering about, this makes it really easy to quickly leash myself to something. One thing I haven’t figured out yet is with unleashing. It seems that if you don’t own the post, you need your owner to unleash you. Not completely sure about that but since it’s OpenCollar I know that the scripts will be open source and I can just look and see. It probably has to do with who is doing the leashing from the collar’s point of view. Either way, it’s a really nice idea.
