Two of the four couples that I mentioned were in trouble last night have dissolved.
Jane’s Dom was splitting his time between his vanilla relationship with someone else and his D/s relationship with Jane (and no, she wasn’t aware of the vanilla relationship when they initially got together).
Tara’s Dom just split. Things had been getting strained between them over the last little while, and it came to a head yesterday and this morning. The climax was when she came in this evening to discover that everything he had in their place was gone and she had an IM that simply said “I’m leaving SL”. There’s more the story of course, much more, but that’s the essentials. Naturally she’s hurt, angry, confused. I’m going to ask Miss deka if we can put a cottage up for her on our meadow until she’s settled. I’m sure Miss will agree, but I don’t want to overstep.
I haven’t heard from Miss deka at all this evening, I sent her a couple of IMs on Yahoo, but I’m not sure she got them. I hope everything’s okay for her. Meanwhile I’m going to be up until well after midnight babysitting a build at work. It would be okay if I could be in SL while I await the build, but our VPN interferes with SL. Grr.
