Miss deka reminded me that I haven’t blogged much of late. So I’m going to recommit to posting something every day, even if it’s “Spent the evening at the Forum chatting”.
Miss hasn’t been able to be on a lot lately, but I’ve been keeping busy. We were getting a new house built, but the builder had to pull out because of RL. RL must always take priority, so rather than a new house, we’ve got a new location for the castle. The meadow’s been moved way down from where it was, and the castle now sits at one end, with stables and kennel nearby. I’ve had some inventory disappear so we still don’t have furniture in the main hall. I’ve got some possibles to show Miss next time she’s inworld.
I’ve also been redoing my inventory, transferring the items I had in archive boxes to this new inventory manager I discovered. The big feature it has is that you manage your items on the web, and can deliver anything to anyone from the web portal. The best part for me is that it means I can off-load everything that doesn’t need to reside directly in my inventory and still have it easily accessible, easier in fact than with archive boxes since I can send items anywhere in SL! There’s also a texture organizer which will synchronize with one of the inventory servers so I’m going to be busy re-arranging all my textures soon as well.
The biggest news is that tomorrow morning is my DJ debut at the Forum! We’re having a fair all weekend and I’ve finally got all the kinks worked out at my end to be able to stream through to SL. I partly paid my way through college DJing (25 years ago) and am really looking forward to firing up again. Should be fun!
Well it’s frightfully late, and I’m planning an early shift tomorrow so we’ll close with that.
