How better to title it? I had no sooner started to come to terms with the thought that it really didn’t look like Miss deka was coming back, than my radar announces that she’d just logged in.

I’m not going to go into detail about what it was that was keeping her out of SL, because no offense, gentle reader, it’s none of your damned business. I will say that RL stepped up and dealt her a massive load of crap that she’s been digging out of ever since.

With all the uncertainty, all the flip flopping I’ve been going through, particularly the last few days, my reaction when she rezzed in truly confirmed the conclusions I’d reached before: I belong to Miss deka Nexen. Full Stop. I rushed over to where she was rezzing just as fast as I possibly could. My relief at seeing her had me in tears. I’m still buzzing a bit from the knowledge that she’s okay, and we’re okay.

There are going to be more times when she’ll need to be absent from SL. We both know that, some are planned some will be unplanned. We know this, but I know tonight just as strongly as I didn’t know it last night, that I am owned, I am cared for, and she’s not be run over by a bus (my greatest worry, so great I couldn’t actually articulate it before).

I go to sleep tonight, warmed again by the presence of Her. All is well.
